Whats the role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in Group Capital & Credit Provisioning Analytics team that provides oversight insight in relation to explanation of credit metrics associated with capital calculations.

The team makes sense of credit outputs by putting it in the right context and deep diving into underlying shifts. Theyre also tasked with articulating business problems and shaping analytics results into compelling stories. Though required to have coding and statistics experience they should be able to present the idea to stakeholders through a commercial lens.

You will also be responsible for ensuring a robust governance framework associated with calculation engines and reporting framework.

What do I need
  • Tertiary qualifications in a technical / quantitative / accounting discipline.
  • Comfortable in programming (SQL SAS) and associated business reporting tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
  • Exposure to / understanding of regulatory and accounting requirements (APS) preferred
  • 2 years experience within a credit quant or risk management team and continuous improvement focus.
  • Financial markets knowledge and policy rollout experience is desirable as well as an understanding of how capital/provisioning models work
  • Well-developed analytical skills as well as high results orientation and good communication skills
  • Efficient team player with a high degree of organizational self-reliance
  • A solid understanding of the appropriateness of applying rules-based analytics and data driven analytics.
