About the role Mō te tūranga mahi

Were looking for kaimahi to join our brandnew Review Specialist team an exciting chance to come onboard a newly established team in our Dunedin - Ōtepoti hub with multiple positions available.

While our wider Resolution Services whānau is wellestablished highly stable and recognised as a great place to work this new team marks an important phase as we manage increasing claims volumes support current change interventions and advance initiatives that improve rehabilitation performance.

A day in the life involves looking at ACC decisions through the eyes of customers and independent reviewers identifying opportunities for early resolution and representing ACC at conciliations or review hearings when needed.

Our work spans all areas of ACC so no two days are the same. Youll have variety ownership and the chance to make a real difference with the support you need from day one.

About you Mōu

You will need to be someone who can feel with their heart but think with their head someone who can listen and ensure our customers feel heard someone who can navigate through conflict and someone with a proven track record of excellent communication leading to great results. To be successful you will also have:

  • A real love of problem solving and peeling back the layers to find the core of the issue
  • Personal resilience as you will be working with people experiencing challenging circumstances
  • Excellent communication skills including building rapport with internal and external clients and the ability to have challenging conversations
  • Confidence in managing time well and prioritising multiple demands
  • A passion for understanding ACC legislation related case law and how this applies to our decisions here at ACC
  • It is advantageous if you have an understanding of Tikanga Maori Dispute Resolution Te Reo
