Job Summary
Project Overview PTSS C5ISR Hardware & Software Program
The Lockwood Group supports a C5ISR hardware and software program for a U.S. Army customer located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) MD. This effort provides product technical support services for systems and equipment produced fielded modified or sustained under PdM Network Modernization (NetMod) and PdM Mission Network within the Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN) Program Executive Office C3T (PEO C3T).
The program ensures secure scalable and mission-ready tactical network capabilities supporting Army modernization and operational effectiveness.
Position Overview
The Electrical Engineer Technologist will focus on advancing the capabilities of modern networked systems for the Army ensuring optimal performance reliability and security of electrical systems integral to military operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prototyping & Testing: Building physical models of circuits and testing them to see if they meet the engineers specifications.
Troubleshooting: Using tools like oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and multimeters to find out exactly why a piece of hardware is failing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3years in the Department of Defense contracting market of major weapon systems product development and acquisitions.
- Knowledge of electrical systems circuit design and modern networking technologies.
- Familiarity with military standards and protocols related to networking and communication systems.
