The Role
As a Senior Telecommunications Engineer with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Position reports to: Sr. Telecom Engineer reports functionally to the assigned Lead Engineer of the project. He /she is administratively responsible to his I&C. Chief Engineer / HOD in the Engineering Department.
- Primary objective
- Adherence to Quality Assurance system applicable procedures Design basis Applicable design guides / Standards / Specifications as applicable.
- Assistance to Lead Engineer.
- Adherence to the committed schedule.
- Specific Accountabilities
- Specifications for PA/GA systems Telephone systems LAN/IT CCTV Access Control System EPABX systems Wireless (UHF/VHF radio systems) Fiber optics.
- Technical Bid Evaluation for above systems.
- Vendor documents review.
- Location layout drawings for the above systems.
- Telecom Equipment Room Layouts.
- Telecom System block diagrams.
- Tray/Conduit routing and wiring.
- Design of Communication cabinets and high-density fiber cabinets.
- Calculations (Power Load and Heat rise dB loss).
- Fiber optic networks schematic diagrams.
- Hands on experience on CCTV PA/GA Radio Coverage study software.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Degree in Instrument or telecom engineering.
- Telecommunication engineer 10 12 year experience with exposure mentioned above.
- Preference will be given to candidates with work experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
