BIM Engineer Lead Designer Revit Structures

Overview

We are seeking a Structural BIM Lead to join our GTC Buildings & Places BIM team supporting the design and delivery of complex structural systems across various building projects.

The position involves creating and managing 3D models producing detailed 2D drawings coordinating multidisciplinary BIM workflows and ensuring compliance with AtkinsRéalis standards and international BIM practices. The role requires strong modelling expertise understanding of BIM standards experience with tools like Revit AutoCAD Navisworks ProjectWise/ACC and the ability to collaborate within large engineering teams. The candidate should have strong interpersonal organisational and communication skills and be able to maintain BIM model quality processes. It offers excellent growth opportunities within a worldleading infrastructure consultancy.

Your role

About you

• Ideal candidates should have a Diploma/B.E/ in Civil Engineering with 510 years experience delivering multidisciplinary projects strong knowledge of Revit/CAD functionalities Navisworks & CDE platforms and a passion for improving design efficiency through technology and innovation.

Pre-requisites

• BIM Designer with relevant Diploma / Engineering as required.
• Delivering of Structural CAD/BIM work with minimal supervision

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of multidisciplinary and multiregional projects to comply with relevant CAD/BIM standard
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Ability to work using Engineers calculations and design producing drawings / 3D modelling
• Ability to extract 2D drawings from BIM models (Revit & CAD).

Desired Experience

• Minimum 5 years of Revit structures experience on multi-disciplinary projects. Interface experience with other disciplines and senior engineers. Clear understanding of career aspirations of self.
