Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain critical backend services and infrastructure components using TypeScript and .
Design implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform focusing on automation and efficiency.
Deploy manage and optimise services within a large-scale AWS environment leveraging a wide range of AWS services.
Participate in the design and implementation of robust monitoring logging and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
Collaborate with development teams to provide infrastructure support and guidance ensuring smooth integration and deployment processes.
Contribute to the implementation and enforcement of security best practices across the backend infrastructure.
Actively engage in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues ensuring minimal disruption to development workflows.
Participate in code reviews contribute to documentation and adhere to established coding standards and best practices.
Continuously learn and improve your skills in backend development DevOps and infrastructure management.

Qualifications:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
5-6 years of hands-on experience in backend software engineering DevOps or infrastructure management.
Solid understanding of backend development concepts including API design data management and system architecture.
Experience with cloud infrastructure preferably AWS.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code principles and tools (e.g. Terraform).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a focus on internal stakeholder support.
Understanding of security best practices within cloud environments.
