Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We are seeking a highly motivated reliable and trustworthy individual with excellent customer service skills and detailed oriented individual to clean and maintain a commercial location. While previous experience in janitorial housekeeping or a related field is preferred it is not mandatory. -Position:Janitorial

Location: Mapunapuna (Honolulu HI 96819)

-Schedule: Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday: 2:00PM - 5:00PM Wednesday: 3:30PM-6:30PM and Saturday: 12:00PM - 4:30PM

-Compensation per hour: $16.00

-Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the facility

Stand and walk for extended periods

Communicate effectively and understand English

Clean warehouse restrooms and office spaces

Operate a vacuum for indoor cleaning

Restroom cleaning and restock supplies

Sweep mop interior and exterior floors clean glass doors and mirrors

Clean and disinfect surfaces that are being touched frequently

Clean and wipe down all tables and chairs

Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas

Push trash bins as needed

-Skills/Qualifications:

Must pass HBM prescreen check.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous janitorial custodian experience or related experience is preferred and willing to train.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Must have good public relations skills and communication.

Applicants must perform basic manual labor clean common areas frequently press lift push pull carry a minimum of 15lbs (up to 50lbs) be able to reach overhead grasp objects bend kneel crawl squat climb stretch walk stair and ladder climbing and stand throughout their shifts.
