Job Description:
A Liaison Executive for a steel manufacturing company
acts as the primary link between the plant government bodies and external stakeholders. They handle regulatory compliance obtain permits (pollution control land police) manage logistics coordination (railways) and resolve local issues to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Government Liaisoning:Secure and renew licenses approvals and permits from local authorities Pollution Control Board and DIC.
- External Relations:Maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities local administration police and community stakeholders to resolve operational hurdles.
- Operational Compliance:Ensure adherence to local laws safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Logistics Support:Coordinate with railways for coal/raw material movement and assist in dispatch logistics.
- Documentation & Reporting:Handle statutory documentation file paperwork and provide MIS/dispatch reports to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:Proven experience in liaison public relations or government affairs particularly in the steel power or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge:Strong understanding of local laws statutory procedures and manufacturing plant operational challenges.
- Skills:Exceptional communication relationship-building negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Education:Typically requires a degree in Law (LLB) Engineering ( or related field.
Common Qualifications & Experience Needed
- Experience:Typically 26 years of relevant experience.
- Salary Range:Annual salary usually ranges from 1.2 LPA to 6.5 LPA depending on experience and location.
- Location:Often based at the site or manufacturing unit (e.g. Raipur).
