In this role you will:
- Lead highperforming IP claims teams to deliver fair timely and consistent outcomes aligned to policy customer and regulatory expectations.
- Embed TALs claims philosophy and risk culture to ensure decisions are compliant ethical and build longterm trust.
- Strengthen assessment quality across IP portfolios by driving sound judgement consistency and effective case management.
- Build leadership and technical capability across Team Managers and consultants enabling confident decisionmaking and progression of delegated authorities.
- Use datadriven insights to improve performance by identifying trends risks and opportunities across IP claims portfolios.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver the Retail IP claims strategy and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years experience leading Income Protection claims teams with demonstrated accountability for portfolio outcomes and decision quality.
- Strong technical expertise in Income Protection products with the ability to apply policy terms confidently across complex and sensitive claims.
- Proven people leadership capability with experience developing claims leaders and consultants through coaching and capability uplift.
- Welldeveloped analytical capability including the ability to interpret claims data metrics and trends to inform sound judgement and outcomes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Life Insurance Code of Practice Privacy Principles and relevant legislation and the ability to apply these consistently in claims assessment.
- Clear credible communicator able to influence stakeholders and deliver customerfocused outcomes aligned to TALs values.
