Carolina Physical Therapy is hiring a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our energetic outpatient clinic in North Charleston. If youre passionate about pelvic health and enjoy a collaborative patient-centered environment wed love to meet you!
What Youll Do:
- Evaluate and treat pelvic floor dysfunction in men and women including incontinence bowel dysfunction pre/post-natal issues and related conditions
- Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
- Design and implement customized treatment programs using manual therapy exercise and patient education
- Review physician referrals and relevant medical records to determine appropriate physical therapy treatment
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and patient care guidelines
- Educate and empower patients and caregivers throughout their rehabilitation and wellness journey
- Document evaluations treatment plans patient progress and patient/caregiver instructions in a timely manner
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with patients caregivers physicians insurance providers and clinic team members
- Supervise and be responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Complete required documentation including initial evaluations progress reports daily notes discharge summaries and incident reports
Qualifications :
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state South Carolina license
- CPR certification
- Exercise sports rehab and manual-based skills
- Outgoing and energetic personality
- Responsible individual with a solid work ethic
- Excellent communication and people skills
