Qualifications :
The role is responsible for supporting daily mailroom operations including mail distribution postage processing package shipping and customer service. The position requires strong organizational skills basic technical knowledge of office equipment and the ability to handle physical tasks such as walking mail routes lifting packages and operating mailroom equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Walk assigned mail routes to deliver and collect mail and packages within the facility or between buildings.
Process incoming and outgoing mail including sorting distributing and preparing items for shipment.
Operate postage meters and shipping systems to ensure accurate mailing and package processing.
Prepare packages apply shipping labels and coordinate courier or carrier pickups.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate mail and shipping records.
Provide excellent customer service while assisting employees and guests with mailing and shipping requests.
Operate office equipment such as printers copiers scanners and postage machines.
Maintain organized mailroom operations and ensure timely delivery of all mail items.
Support inventory management of mailroom and office supplies.
Follow company policies and safety procedures when handling packages and operating equipment.
Additional Information :
lifting or moving items weighing up to 50-55 lbs.
