The Pharmacy Technician-in-training is a KVH employee that is enrolled in a Commission-approved Pharmacy Training Program. The Technician Training Program is intended to last one-year with the majority of the work and learning happening on-site and self-studied didactic curriculums under the guidance of preceptors. It is an expectation that the Technician-in-training will complete the program and pass the accredited pharmacy technician certification exam and become a licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Washington.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
Will need PRIOR to the program starting
- Enroll as a Pharmacy Technician-in-Training with the Washington State Department of Health Pharmacy Commission
- Obtain after accepted to the program
What is preferred...
- Previous experience in healthcare field or as pharmacy assistant
- Current Pharmacy Assistant license from the Washington State Department of Health
Additional Information :
Wage: Wage range starts at $20.16/hour and goes up to $30.56/hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience. After successfully completing six-months of the program there will be a pay increase.
FTE: 1.0 40 hours/week
Benefits: This position is benefits eligible
Additional Program Information: There is an expectation of completing some of the assignments and reading materials from home that would be un-paid time.
