You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Ensuring Ignitis environmental compliance with EU national local laws and internal standards across Baltics Poland and Finland
- Implementing and maintaining environmental management systems (e.g. ISO 14001)
- Identifying assessing and mitigating environmental risks across operations
- Providing guidance on environmental permits regulations and supporting operational and project teams
- Monitoring compliance in areas such as air water waste hazardous materials and pollution prevention
- Conducting environmental audits and oversee corrective and preventive actions
- Preparing environmental reports managing environmental taxes and monitoring key performance indicators
- Managing environmental incidents coordinating contractors and service providers and driving continuous improvement
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Engineering or a related field
- 3 years of environmental experience in industrial energy or similar sectors
- Knowledge of environmental legislation permitting and compliance processes
- Experience with environmental audits monitoring reporting and documentation
- Familiarity with environmental management systems (e.g. ISO 14001) preferred
- Strong communication skills in Lithuanian and English
- Proactive collaborative and detail-oriented with good digital literacy (MS Office/365)
- Valid driving licence (Category B)
