Perception Software Developer

Develop and deploy state-of-the-art perception functionalities independently and in collaboration with a team of experts
Design and implement prototypes using tools such as MATLAB and Python and develop production-ready solutions in object-oriented C
Create and execute software tests to evaluate functionality correctness and performance (e.g. Google Test Python-based testing)
Validate system performance in Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments as well as in real test vehicles
Collaborate closely with Hungarian German and international development teams
Provide technical support to customers when adapting the platform software to specific requirements
Contribute to the continuous improvement of perception algorithms and development processes

Qualifications :

University degree in Computer Science Control Theory Electronics Telecommunications Informatics Mathematics Physics Machine Learning or a comparable field
Strong mathematical background (e.g. trigonometry linear algebra discrete mathematics)
Experience with scripting languages and software testing methods
Strong analytical structural and logical thinking
Proactive and assertive working style
Good communication and collaboration skills
Target- and quality-oriented mindset
Willingness to travel for business trips to Germany
Fluency in English and/or German
Leadership skills are considered an advantage

Nice to have (can be learned on the job)

Ability to estimate prioritize and schedule own tasks effectively
Experience working with embedded systems
Knowledge of software engineering practices (e.g. software architecture UML version control)
