Job Summary
Sobi is currently seeking a R&D and Medical Affairs (RDMA) Strategy and Portfolio Associate Director to join our RDMA Strategy and Operations (S&O) group. The position owns the development execution and continuous evolution of RDMA strategy and portfolio insights acting as a thought partner to senior RDMA leadership. The position plays a central role in shaping portfoliolevel decisions advancing digital and AIenabled capabilities and strengthening RDMA governance and decisionmaking.
Main responsibilities:
- Partner with Head of RDMA S&O to define and implement RDMA strategy
- Lead the definition and execution of the RDMA digital and AI roadmap
- Shape and continuously improve RDMA operating model governance and decision processes
- Translate portfolio data into clear decisionready insights for RDMA LT ExCom and Portfolio Review Committees
- Act as RDMA strategy lead in BD scouting and due diligence ensuring consistency comparability and strategic fit
- Drive preparation of highimpact materials for senior governance forums
Qualifications :
- Experience in portfolio management R&D strategy or enterpriselevel analytics within Pharma/Biotech
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data into executivelevel insights and recommendations
- Experience working with senior governance bodies (LT ExCom Portfolio Committees)
- Exposure to BD due diligence or asset evaluation strongly preferred
- Familiarity with R&D digital tools portfolio systems or analytics platforms is an advantage
- Life Science MSc or completed Medicine degree
- Professional proficiency in English
- Ability to solve complex problems develop creative solutions thinking dexterity
- Self-awareness open-minded courageous solid ownership mindset purpose and integrity persist and sustain energy as well as authenticity and empathy are personal traits that will make you successful in this role
