Lead QA Analyst – BEYOND GOOD & EVIL 2 (MFNB)

What you will do:

We are opening a Lead QA position within our Quality department. We are looking for a leader with strong interpersonal skills capable of rethinking processes and supporting the team on a daily basis.

Under the supervision of LiviuIoane the Quality Project Manager you will work closely with the technical lead.

Your missions:

You will be responsible for:

• Leading and organizing QA team activities: clear objectives prioritization planning resource allocation.
• (Re)designing implementing and maintaining QA processes (test strategy acceptance criteria traceability reporting).
• Collaborating closely with Development teams the other QA lead and the QA team to continuously improve pipelines.
• Delivering regular reports on project quality status and risks; proactively raising alerts and proposing action plans.
• Setting up targeted actions to identify prioritize and clarify blocking/disruptive bugs and ensure their resolution.
• Building a positive team culture: motivation recognition team spirit rituals transparency.
• Supporting individual growth: continuous feedback performance reviews training needs and skills development.

Important: This role prioritizes management and process ownership. A basic QA background is acceptable if you have strong leadership and excellent organizational skills.

Your future work environment:

You will join a team of around 10 to 12 people.

You will become the managerial reference for the QA group at the heart of the project paired with a technical colead supporting you on tooling and testrelated topics.

You will collaborate daily with Liviu (your manager) and with development and production teams in a multistudio environment.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience managing a team (ideally of a similar size).
• Handson knowledge of QA tools and methods (bug tracking databases test plans strategies prioritization).
• Comfortable with tracking tools (e.g. Jira) and testing methodologies; able to design/optimize test cases and reports.
• Fluent English (multistudio context).
• Technical interest: understanding of environments platforms and QA tools; advanced technical topics are handled by the colead.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of consoles and build pipelines.
• Basic networking / online services understanding.
• Exposure to game engines and/or scripting.

• Clear and pedagogical communication: giving meaning explaining the why aligning teams.
• Initiative & autonomy: strong onboarding over the first 6 months then high level of autonomy expected.
• Rigor: tracking priorities Jira rituals indicators.

Recruitment Process

• Application review: our team will carefully study your profile.
• Quick prequalification call (max. 30 min): if your profile matches we will conduct a short call to validate key elements.
• Interview 1 Discovery (1 hour online): with a recruitment team member to get to know you and assess alignment with the role.
• Interview 2 Technical (1 hour online): discussion with the Quality Project Manager to dive into the technical aspects and ensure we speak the same language.

A second technical interview may be requested depending on the teams needs.

Your onboarding

• Phase 1: Understanding expectations project vision and framework with the Quality Project Manager.
• Phase 2: Technical immersion and discovery of the teams and tools with the second Lead QA Analyst.
