Job Summary
Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.
Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment within defined policies and processes to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
At least 5 years up of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
The position offers experiencedFunctional/Technical Designers and Developers the opportunity to build and expand their career as a global Consultant working on Oracle implementation projects in the global financial services industry. Depending on the depth of their functional and technical experience successful candidates can be groomed to become Solution Architects Functional Designers Technical Designers or Development Leads.Strong experience in CC&B/ORMB/OUAF is a requirement. Skills in building highly efficient and quality code translated from solution driven designs are mandatory
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the customer and Solution Architect to drive out and identify their high-level business requirements during Process Analysis and Functional Design sessions.
- Translate moderate-complex customer business requirements into high quality Functional Designs within agreed timeframes.
- Convert Functional Design specifications into Technical Design that will be used by a developer to build code.
- Convert complex Technical Design specifications into high quality working code within agreed budgets and time frames.
- Prepare unit test plan and unit test cases. Perform unit testing of programs according to defined process using the unit test plan and unit test cases.
- Assist Architects Designers Dev Leads or Project Managers in producing detailed estimates of development effort.
- Provide support during system testing user acceptance testing Go-Live and maintenance support phases.
- Assist in the project teams release activities and in the review and sign-off of release deliverables.
- Share responsibility in promoting learning and transfer of knowledge within the FSGBU organization
