Part-Time Janitorial MA

We are currently hiring for janitorial position. If you are detail-oriented reliable and take pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities include cleaning (sweep dust mop vacuum sanitizing) glass/frequently touch surfaces and restrooms as well as managing waste disposal and restocking supplies and continuously walking standing squatting reaching bending push pull lift and stretching throughout the shift. While previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates. All applicants must successfully pass HBM prescreen check. -Location:Downtown Oahu (Honolulu HI 96813)

-Schedule:Sunday: 4PM to 7:30PM and Monday to Thursday: 5:30PM to 8:30PM (15.5 hours weekly)

-Compensation per hour:$17.27

-Key Responsibilities:

Ability to follow instructions

Adhere to safety procedures at all times

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in assigned duties including: cleaning spills restrooms offices sidewalks pathways window sills railings stairways removing bird droppings light scrubbing and clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.

Clean the area by moving between different floors.

Involves a lot of walking and pushing a utility cart

Restock cleaning supplies as needed

Empty trash receptacles wastebaskets and recyclables disposing of them in designated areas

Multi-task and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service

Communicate effectively with supervisors co-workers vendors supervisor and property managers

Report safety issues or building problems (e.g. burnt light bulbs)

Notify the appropriate HBM employee regarding needed supplies and equipment for cleaning duties

Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or property manager

-Skills and Qualifications:

Candidates must pass the HBM prescreen check.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Candidates should be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Strong public relations and communication skills are essential.

Capable of lifting pushing or pulling between 20 lbs. and 50 lbs.; able to walk and stand for extended periods during work shifts; and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience operating various cleaning machinery preferred but not required (e.g. leaf blower power washer floor scrubber and/or ride on machine).
