We empower our analysts to provide business-to-business professional spatial data & digital engineering providing them with everything they need to enter into a career in data analytics or digital engineering!

Our organisation is still growing and we are looking for our next group of trainees to join our team of young professionals!

In 2022 we won the Lord Mayors Business award for Outstanding Social Enterprise the 2023 University of QLD Social Enterprise of the Year the 2023 Energy Queensland Technical Excellence award as well as the 2023 & 2024 Geospatial Council Australia Award for Workforce Development & Inclusion Award in Victoria and South Australia!

Our team is comprised of over 70 people across two offices; our head office in Brisbane and our 2nd office in Melbourne. This makes us one of Australias largest work-integrated social enterprises (WISE) and were only four years old!

About the Role

This is a 12 month in office traineeship position the successful candidate will beworking full-time Monday to Friday with a full day given to study withinbusiness hours.

You will be provided training for our projects which can include but arent limited to; Farm and Livestock Mapping Data Labelling Digital Engineering and Telecommunication Network Design.

As you may have no prior experience usingthe software our team is dedicated to providing you a supportive learningenvironment.

We will work with you to develop your skills as an Analyst building your competency and confidence where you will be able to take your career to the next level!

ASA is your launchpad into a future as Spatial Data Analyst or CAD technician.

We want to see you succeed we will teach you everything you need to succeed at the role there is no expectation of prior experience with any software or systems.

This is a pathway entry level position that provides complete on-the-job training for the role.

Location

Our office is based at 37 Kennigo Street Fortitude Valley (near Public Transport)

  • Immediate Start
  • 18 years of age or over
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A focused attention to detail and enjoys procedural based tasks
  • Ability to recognise patterns rapidly
  • A willingness to learn and work in a team!
  • Neurodivergent individuals are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Committed to complete a 12-month Traineeship program

Useful (but not required) skills include:

  • Geographic Information System experience (ArcGIS QGIS etc.) CAD or design experience Keen interest in Data and IT
