Middle School Baseball Coach

Uxbridge High School is seeking a dedicated knowledgeable and student-centered Intermediate (Grades 6-7) Baseball Coach to lead and develop our middle school program. The Coach will work closely with the Director of Athletics to foster athletic skill development teamwork sportsmanship and character in alignment with school and district positions works under the general supervision of the Whitin Intermediate School Principal and Uxbridge Public Schools Athletic Responsibilities:Plan and conduct organized structured practices focused on fundamentals skill development and team proper baseball techniques conditioning and injury lineups manage substitutions and implement in-game of MIAA pitch count rulesEnsure proper supervision of student-athletes during games and teamwork leadership and sportsmanship among athletesCommunicate effectively with athletes parents coaching staff and administrationEnsure compliance with school district and state athletic association policiesQualifications:Previous baseball coaching or playing experience (youth level preferred).Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals and to mentor and motivate middle school communication and organizational Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to season start).Successful completion of background check as required by district (Fingerprinting CORI/SORI)****************************************************************************************************************************My application affirms that I have read and understand that the information which I have provided with this application process and the accompanying resume is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
