Reports to: Principal
The Winthrop School seeks an enthusiastic dedicated Long Term Substitute Kindergarten Teacher beginning on or around May 14 2026 through October 2026. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching exceptional communication skills and an ability to foster a positive inclusive classroom environment.
Candidates must be collaborative team players who effectively partner with grade-level colleagues and special educators across the school and district. A commitment to differentiating instruction to address diverse learning needs and abilities is essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing the Districts approved curriculum diligently and collaboratively;
- Creating engaging inclusive and differentiated learning experiences;
- Actively participating in collaborative planning with colleagues;
- Demonstrating excellent communication with students families and staff;
- Building strong trusting relationships with families of learners.
