Job Summary
We are seeking an Electropolishing Technician to support metal finishing operations in a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on preparing and finishing stainless steel components through electropolishing processes to meet strict quality and surface finish requirements.
This is a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys working in a production or industrial environment and takes pride in precision and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
Perform electropolishing of stainless steel components to achieve required surface finish and cleanliness standards
Prepare parts for processing including cleaning racking masking and inspection
Operate electropolishing tanks power supplies and related equipment
Monitor chemical baths and process parameters to ensure proper finishing results
Inspect finished parts for quality surface finish and compliance with specifications
Maintain proper chemical handling procedures and safety standards
Record process data and production details as required
Assist with general metal finishing cleaning and shop support tasks as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
Previous experience with electropolishing metal finishing or surface treatment is highly preferred
Experience working with stainless steel components is a plus
Ability to follow work instructions process specifications and safety procedures
Comfortable working with chemical baths and finishing equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Additional Information
Candidates with experience in metal finishing polishing passivation or stainless steel surface treatment are encouraged to apply. Training may be provided for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude or manufacturing experience.
Pay will be determined based on experience and technical skill level.
