Crewe Cheshire Therapeutic EBD Complex Childcare Homes Full Time Full Training Provided
Homes for Support is expanding across Crewe Cheshire and we are recruiting Residential Childcare Support Workers (Drivers essential) to join our growing teams.
You will help children feel safe build trust regulate emotions and experience stability. Youll support daily routines school transport appointments activities and therapeutic plans on a medium to long-term care plan. This is a purposeful position caring for children and young people as they build independence confidence and life skills.

EBD Residential Home opening later in 2026 due to company growth
High-Complex Attachments and Behavioural Needs Home (1 bedroom 2:1 staffing) opening soon to support children with the most complex care needs
Whether you have previous childcare experience or are completely new to the sector if you are reliable compassionate and confident driving we will train and support you.
You will be a trusted adult in their lives. That means creating stability modelling positive relationships supporting education and aspirations and helping them navigate the practical and emotional challenges of growing up. Every interaction matters - from key work sessions and support planning to everyday conversations that build trust and resilience.
The role sits within a regulated environment which means our practice is structured reflective and always centred on the welfare safety and progress of the young people we support. You will contribute to support planning risk management professional meetings and partnership working to ensure young people have the opportunities and safeguards they deserve.
We offer competitive pay ranging from 25528.50 - 31918.50 depending on qualification and sleep-in frequency.

Many of our leaders started as Support Workers - progression is real and encouraged.
Shifts are rota-based and include evenings weekends and sleep-ins where applicable. The pattern is two days work followed by four days off on a rolling six-day cycle. The working day starts at 08:00 and ends at 23:00.
You must:
Hold the right to work in the UK and the ability to commute to Crewe
Hold a full UK driving licence and be over 21 (insurance requirement)
Be reliable calm and emotionally resilient
Be willing to complete training and qualifications
Experience in care youth work security support work mental health sports coaching or the armed forces is beneficial but not essential.
No childcare qualifications No problem. We will support you.

Interviews are held in person for approximately 45 minutes with two managers as part of our robust safer recruitment process.
