Laboratory Operations Support Technician
Job Summary
Salary:
Up to 15.23 per hour PAYE
Laboratory Operations Support Technician Role:
- Provide operational support to the R&D and Global Manufacturing & Quality laboratories as well as the pilot plant facility
- Manage technical administration activities using SAP Veeva Documentation Management System and Microsoft 365 applications including Teams
- Raise purchase orders complete goods receipts and approve invoices through SAP-Ariba
- Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules for laboratory equipment using SAP-EAM and liaise with external service providers for routine servicing and repairs
- Scan and process completed pilot plant batch production records for transfer to internal departments
- Support scientists by managing periodic review timelines for technical documents procedures assessments and training packages
- Arrange courier shipments and complete shipping documentation for laboratory samples and equipment within the UK and internationally
- Carry out laboratory support duties including daily equipment calibrations reagent preparation and general lab housekeeping
Your Background:
- Previous experience working within a laboratory operations laboratory support or technical administration role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Teams
- Experience using SAP systems would be highly advantageous
- Familiarity with Electronic Document Management Systems such as Veeva is preferred
- Highly organised with strong coordination and documentation management skills
- Able to manage multiple administrative and laboratory-based tasks within a regulated environment
