About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons helping students develop analytical skills and a strong understanding of economic theory and real-world application.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Economics across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5
Planning and delivering engaging lessons covering microeconomics and macroeconomics
Encouraging critical thinking and discussion around real-world economic issues
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Supporting students preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Contributing to the development of the Economics curriculum
Supporting enrichment opportunities such as debate clubs enterprise projects or economics societies
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge in Economics
Be able to deliver engaging and challenging lessons
Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
