Mini-Circuits designs manufactures and distributes integrated circuits modules and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave design sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries Mini-Circuits products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection measurement and imaging applications including military communication guidance and electronic countermeasure systems commercial scientific military land sea and aircraft; automotive systems medical systems and industrial test equipment.

Mini-Circuits sells its products to over 20000 customers globally through our direct sales force applications engineering staff sales representatives as well as through our extensive website.

Position Summary:

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining assigned areas of the facility in a clean orderly and sanitary condition. This role performs routine custodial and light facility support duties to ensure a safe professional and compliant work environment in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.

Job Functions:

Cleaning & Sanitation

Clean and sanitize bathrooms offices lunchrooms conference rooms production areas and other assigned spaces.
Dust wipe and disinfect surfaces to maintain a sanitary work environment.
Clean and maintain breakrooms and kitchen areas including appliances and countertops.
Ensure conference rooms are cleaned organized and ready for use.
Break down and properly dispose of cardboard and packaging materials.

Waste & Facility Maintenance

Remove trash and debris from assigned areas in a timely manner.
Maintain the cleanliness of building entrances walkways parking lot areas and dock drains.
Identify and report facility issues safety hazards or maintenance concerns to Management promptly.

Inventory & Supply Management

Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies paper products and coffee/breakroom supplies.
Restock consumables as needed to ensure continuous availability.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all company safety policies and procedures during cleaning activities.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
Support company initiatives related to 5S workplace organization and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma GED or equivalent required.
12 years of custodial experience in commercial industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
Experience using custodial tools equipment and cleaning chemicals.
Basic understanding of workplace safety standards.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand walk sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
