About MCCPS: Marblehead Community Charter Public School (MCCPS) is a small vibrant academically rigorous and community-focused public charter school serving students in grades 48. Our Spanish Teacher will join a strong Integrated Arts team and will strive to cultivate a love and appreciation for foreign language among our students while ensuring their proficiency in Description:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish teacher to join our team and instruct students in grades 4-8. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to nurturing a positive and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their language skills through project-based learning experiences. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in the Spanish language cultural competence and a strong commitment to student growth and :- Develop and implement curriculum lesson plans and assessments that align with the schools project-based learning approach and state standards.- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes teamwork collaboration and respect for cultural diversity.- Provide engaging and interactive Spanish language instruction to students in grades 4-8 catering to various learning styles and abilities.- Foster students speaking listening reading and writing skills in Spanish while encouraging authentic communication and cultural understanding.- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies resources and technology to enhance student learning and engagement.- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments providing timely feedback and support.- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and integrate Spanish language learning into other subject areas.- Communicate effectively and regularly with students parents and colleagues to support students language development and overall academic success.- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching strategies language proficiency and cultural :- Bachelors degree in Spanish Education or a related field (masters degree preferred).- Valid teaching certification or license in Spanish (Grades 5-8).- Proven experience teaching Spanish to middle school students- Demonstrated fluency and proficiency in Spanish including strong oral and written communication skills.- Knowledge of current best practices in foreign language instruction and culturally responsive teaching.- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that values collaboration respect and community.- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students parents and colleagues.
