The Test Manager / UAT Lead will manage day-to-day testing execution and lead UAT planning coordination defect management support cycle readiness and overall execution across Integrated Eligibility and Child Support workstreams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of experience in software testing/QA with at least 5 years in UAT leadership or test management
Minimum 5 years of experience on large-scale SNAP TANF Child Care and/or Child Support initiatives
Minimum 5 years of experience with state eligibility systems and associated policies practices technologies and SOPs
Strong experience in UAT execution defect management and business-user coordination
Experience with test management and traceability tools such as Jira/Zephyr/R4J
Strong knowledge of test lifecycle requirement traceability status reporting and readiness criteria
Strong communication and coordination skills in government or multi-vendor settings
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership for the testing services engagement across IE and CSE
Serve as the senior point of contact for executive-level coordination with client leadership and internal management
Oversee planning preparation execution regression rollout support and post-go-live testing support
Manage project governance staffing risk issue dependency and escalation management
Ensure testing workstreams align with approved requirements timelines deliverables and scope
Coordinate with MDHS Test Manager UAT team DDI vendor and internal delivery teams
Monitor resource allocation productivity delivery quality and contractual commitments
Support change request evaluation impact assessment and change-order discussions
Review executive status reports dashboards risk logs and milestone readiness
Lead daily testing activities across planning preparation execution and retesting cycles
Develop and manage test execution plans schedules cycle calendars and resource assignments
Coordinate closely with MDHS Test Manager and MDHS UAT team
Support UAT entry/exit criteria tracking and execution readiness
Manage test case review execution status defect triage coordination and retesting progress
Coordinate with functional leads automation team data/environment support and reporting resources
Support business-user participation during UAT and ensure proper test execution coverage
Monitor defects execution progress blockers and test completion metrics
Prepare daily/weekly status reports and readiness summaries
Support pilot statewide rollout and post-go-live testing activities
