Job Summary

Network Support Engineer: L2 Support

Location: Ahmedabad

Salary - 6-7 LPA

Manage network configurations perform diagnostics and resolve intermediate issues involving network devices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education - Bachelors degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent field experience

Experience - 2 years of more CCNA or CCNP certification preferred

Must have good written and oral communication skills

Strong knowledge of Network Engineering concepts like TCP/IP with a focus on Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking

Proven experience in switching routing firewall management and wireless networking

Strong understanding of network protocols troubleshooting skills and experience with network monitoring tools

Experience with firewall configuration and VPN setup.

Hands-on experience in maintaining and configuring Wi-Fi networks (Access Points Controllers etc.)

Good knowledge about IPv6 VLSM IP management Routing and Switching

Basic Knowledge of Linux OS is preferred

Knowledge of Network Automation tools (Python Ansible Terraform) is a plus

Responsibilities:

Manage and troubleshoot network devices (switches routers firewalls) and infrastructure

Provide support for complex network issues including firewall routing and switching

Assist in the configuration maintenance and optimization of wireless network environments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve networking issues and enhance network performance.

Configure and manage Firewalls (Firewall Rules VPN Configuration Security Policies UTM features like web filtering IDS IPS etc.)

Configure and provide basic troubleshooting for Wireless Networking (Wi-Fi Configuration Site Survey etc)

Perform routine upgrades patching and configuration enhancements

Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO PCI-DSS NIST SOC 2)

Work with ISPs to troubleshoot connectivity issues

Work with multiple clients with different architectureconfiguration simultaneously and guide the team as required
