Overview
The Lead System Administrator is responsible for architecting implementing and governing enterprise-wide system infrastructure across hybrid and cloud environments. This role leads the operational roadmap for servers networks storage virtualization and cybersecurity controls ensuring technology investments align with business priorities and enterprise standards. Working with IT leadership the Lead System Administrator drives infrastructure modernization oversees system architecture design and ensures integration with security applications and network engineering functions. The role sets standards for system administration practices leads complex incident response and mentors the broader IT team to elevate capability and consistency. This position requires both strategic vision and hands-on expertise balancing tactical support with long-term infrastructure evolution to meet organizational needs for performance compliance and innovation.
Education
Bachelors Degree (Required)
Experience
8 years of Systems Administration or infrastructure engineering experience in complex enterprise environments with degree or minimum 10 years of same experience without a degree (Required)
3 years of leadership or architectural design experience managing large-scale or hybrid infrastructure (Required)
3 years Leading modernization automation or migration initiatives at scale. (Required)
