Business Unit Manager, Microbiology

To strengthen our leadership team we are seeking an experienced and inspirational Business Unit Manager Microbiology (100% Schönenwerd) who will play a key role in driving the continued growth of our business in Switzerland.

In this key leadership role you will take full strategic and operational ownership of the Microbiology Business Unit and drive growth quality and innovation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Strategic and operational leadership of an established microbiology team
• Ensuring GMPcompliant laboratory operations and continuous process improvements
• Full responsibility for budget revenue profitability and capacity planning
• Further development of the service portfolio and active contribution to business expansion
• Close collaboration with QA Operations Sales and Eurofins international network
• Coaching motivating and developing your team members
• Representation of the Business Unit towards customers partners and authorities

Qualifications :

You are a great match if you bring:

• A university degree in Microbiology Biotechnology Life Sciences or a related field
• Several years of leadership experience in a GMPregulated laboratory environment
• Solid understanding of microbiological methods (e.g. bioburden environmental monitoring utility testing (clean water gas) endotoxin testing media fills)
• Strong business mindset; experience with P&L responsibility is a plus
• Excellent communication and peopleleadership skills
• Strong customer focus and ability to effectively prioritise in a dynamic environment
• Very good command of English and German
