Job Description
As a Security Guard - PT Patrol Driver in Savannah GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer supporting an aerospace and defense location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly provide customer service and document observations while working with a team that values integrity agility and innovation. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in the job state.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and personnel at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings hangars parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Control access to restricted areas by monitoring entry and exit points verifying identification and/or authorization and directing visitors contractors and deliveries according to site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including supporting evacuations medical response coordination and notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete shift reports and incident documentation monitor cameras and alarms when assigned and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
