Help shape our organization to the world class aspirations we have. This role will be very much hands on in helping us recruit develop and retain an amazing group of individuals. Duties include but are not limited to developing systems processes and best practices payroll support benefits management and enhancing are already incredible culture.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of Manager or Director experience preferably in a startup environment
- Prior leadership experience and management of direct reports
- BA/BS degree or the equivalent in experience
- Expert knowledge of local employment law and HR best practices
- Ability to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Proven track record of positively influencing teams and their leaders
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
- Effectively handle multiple priorities organize workload and meet deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational goals workforce planning and long-term growth. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on culture staffing employee engagement and organizational design.
- Lead change-management initiatives including expansions restructuring and process improvements.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment for clinical surgical technical and administrative roles. Build scalable hiring processes to support a 24/7 specialty medical environment.
- Foster a positive inclusive and high-performance culture aligned with our mission and values. Provide guidance on conflict resolution performance management and corrective action.
- Conduct investigations and ensure consistent fair application of policies.
- Oversee compensation strategy salary structures and market benchmarking. Manage benefits administration open enrollment and vendor relationships.
- Ensure accurate and compliant HRIS data reporting and recordkeeping.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws including Oregon-specific regulations (Paid Leave Oregon OFLA Oregon Sick Time BOLI requirements). Maintain and update employee handbooks policies and procedures.
- Oversee workplace safety programs in partnership with Operations and Safety teams.
