The Role: Project & Team Oversight
You will serve as the operational hub of the project management department ensuring that both the projects and the people are performing at their peak.
Key Responsibilities:
Team & Workflow Management: Oversee a team of Project Managers managing their schedules providing guidance on daily workflows and troubleshooting complex issues as they arise.
Departmental Point of Contact: Act as the primary technical and operational resource for the PM team reducing the need for escalation to executive leadership.
Full Lifecycle Project Direction: Lead high-value structural and miscellaneous steel projects from initial award and project planning through to final completion.
Contractual & Financial Authority: Manage the financial health of contracts handle complex change order negotiations and ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design budget and schedule.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5 years of dedicated Project Management experience specifically within the structural and miscellaneous steel industry (Mandatory).
Leadership Ability: Proven experience or strong aptitude for managing people and workflows. You know how to mentor staff and keep multiple projects moving simultaneously.
Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of construction management processes structural steel drawings and contractual specifications.
Communication: Exceptional negotiation skills and a team-first attitude.
