Great opportunity to join the Honeywell Aerospace Team as a Refrigeration Mechanic at our Minneapolis site A refrigeration mechanic will Balances air conditioning and ventilation systems and perform preventative maintenance
This role will support
3rd Shift: Monday-Friday (10 pm -6 am)
or
5th Shift: Monday and Friday 10 am- 6 pm/ Saturday and Sunday 10 am- 10 pm
Balances air conditioning and ventilation systems using instruments such as anonometer and draft gages; adjusts dampers actuators and mechanical linkage to obtain proper flow across filters coils etc.
Operates troubleshoots and maintains HVAC exhaust refrigeration and hydronic systems including air handler units hot water/steam heat exchanger process coolers large tonnage chillers dry coolers and associated pumping systems.
Routinely performs preventive maintenance tasks on equipment including lubricating belt adjusting verifying pump operation inspecting ductwork/removing debris checking chlorinator operation. Maintaining/inspecting pneumatic control air compressors/associated devices.
Inspects/adjusts/replaces/calibrates temperature and pressure controls. Monitors building systems operation through BAS computer making adjustments and or changes as needed.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED.
Successful completion of 18 months Air Conditioning-Refrigeration school course or 24 months experience.
complete with a passing grade all applicable EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification tests up to and including Type III or Universal.
Acquire within 3.5 years or possess a MN Power Limited Tech License.
2 years Refrigeration Mechanic Experience.
Ability to use computers computer interfaces and building automatic systems

The annual base salary range for this position is $40.03/ hour plus any applicable shift differential
