In short your role within Jungheinrich will play a crucial part in providing the customer with complete peace of mind in managing their intra-company logistics.
Role Purpose:
- Lead Central UE Rental Fleet Management (RFM) and Short Term Rental (STR) to drive growth and profitability across all fleet management business streams.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to drive sales performance.
- Develop and implement long term strategic plans for Fleet management (Used Equipment (UE) Sales Rental and Workshop operations) in the UK including associated marketing and sales initiatives.
- Ensure the optimal size condition and efficiency of the rental fleet(including JFS fleet) and oversee UE stock inventory in line with group guidelines.
- Manage and continuously improve processes and tools across departments to maximise opportunities within Used and Rental operations.
- Ensure the health safety and wellbeing of all staff within the Department.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the Fleet Management business areas: RFM STR UE and Operations.
- Enhance rental performance through cross functional pricing and asset management strategies across UE RFM STR and Financial Services.
- Develop competitive rental solutions aligned with customer requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with key Group stakeholders and carry out additional duties as assigned.
- Optimise the size structure and utilisation of the rental fleet.
- Work with Sales and Marketing to define effective measures for Rental and UE.
- Manage UE stock & supply chain in accordance with group standards.
- Drive the development of a highly efficient operational centre of excellence (incl. workshop & supply chain).
- Prepare annual plans investment proposals and forecasts with Business Directors.
- Ensure achievement of annual targets through analysis performance reviews and corrective actions where required working with the sales teams.
- Establish an order processing centre to create efficient integrated sales processes across UE and rental ensuring improved productivity and reduced operational risk.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed the jobholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the National Enablement Director.
Role Requirements:
Skills:
- An experienced leader / Senior Manager with specific experience within B2B.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong managerial skills.
- Presentation skills and ability to sell Jungheinrich Business Model.
- IT literate in particular SAP and MS Excel.
Qualifications:
- Degree preferable in Finance or Business.
Experience:
- Evidence prior leadership experience.
- Demonstrate an excellence business knowledge and an in depth understanding of a commercial function
Mobility:
- Travel required
- Full valid current driving licence
