YOUR NEW ROLE

Join our team at the Sydney Opera House and help keep our community safe and this role youll provide timely professional first aid and emergency care to staff patrons and visitors and occasionally assist in nearby areas. Youll also help promote workplace health and wellbeing supporting initiatives that reduce the impact of on-site injuries and illness in line with our WH&S plan. ARE YOU THE ONE

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current registration and clinical experience (occupational health experience desirable).
  • Current Advanced Resuscitation and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) with demonstrated emergency response experience including use of AED and other medical equipment.
  • Proven ability to provide immediate first aid and medical care to diverse clients in routine and emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of WHS legislation and workplace injury/illness management with the ability to support prevention and safety initiatives.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills working collaboratively with health staff security and emergency response teams.
  • Current WWCC clearance and ability to maintain accurate medical and incident records using electronic systems in line with legislative and professional standards.
