Job Summary

We are looking for a driven Category Buyer to join our Supply Chain team! As part of our team you will be responsible for purchasing a wide range of goods and services to support our Telecommunications department. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop an appropriate sourcing approach to meet departmental needs. Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented have excellent communication and organization skills and able to effectively manage high priority work demands.

You will be trusted to:

- Purchase goods and services
- Conduct informal and formal solicitations
- Develop and manage relationships with suppliers that drive performance and improvement
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Support category managers and departmental leadership in the execution of strategic sourcing strategies inventory management and overall supply chain objectives

You qualify with:

- Five or more years of experience in procurement logistics warehouse operations inventory
management or other relevant experience.

You are a great fit with:

- Expertise conducting formal and informal purchases for goods/services
- Expertise administering existing purchase contracts
- Experience managing supplier relationships
- Experience establishing and managing stakeholder relationships
- Experience with materials planning and movement
- Experience purchasing wireless communications goods and services
- Understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations
