What Youll Do
- Support our wide network of Caring Hands Animal Hospital family veterinarians by taking directed referrals for the diagnosis and management of complex outpatient internal medicine cases
- Provide outpatienthigh level Internal Medicine services including consultations ultrasound endoscopy using our dedicated equipment (Esaoteultrasound and a complete array of Storz endoscopy equipment)
- Partner closely with family vet practitioners to provide consultative support and seamless continuity of care between specialty and family vet practitioners
- Contribute to a culture of learning mentorship and clinical excellence
- Build lasting relationships with clients and patients in a community-centered practice
What Were Looking For
- ACVIM board-certified (or board-eligible) in Small Animal Internal Medicine
- Active Virginia DVM License required by start date
- A collaborative spirit and genuine passion for integrative team-based care
- Strong communication skills with both colleagues and pet owners
- Commitment to compassionate evidence-based medicine
