Job Summary
As aSenior AWS Infrastructure & Platform Architect (20192)you willbe responsible fordesigning developing andmaintaininghigh-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projectsmentoringjunior engineers and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and lead the architecture of scalable secure and highly available infrastructure solutions on AWS
- Define and implement cloud platform standards automation frameworks and best practices across engineering teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into cloud architecture solutions
- Optimize platform performance reliability and cost efficiency while ensuring security and compliance across AWS environments
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure cloud engineering or platform architecture roles
- Strong expertise designing and managing AWS cloud services such as EC2 S3 VPC IAM and RDS
- Experience architecting scalable secure and highly available cloud platforms in production environments
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Experience with cloud networking security architecture and disaster recovery strategies
- Proficiency with Linux environments and scripting languages such as Python Bash or similar
- AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional are highly desirable
- Strong communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills in complex technical environments
