Job Description:
Major Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g. Caterpillar) to align product offerings with customer needs and market trends.
Serve as the subject matter expert on product application ensuring the right machine is matched to the right job.
Analyze industry trends customer feedback and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
Assistinforecasting industry demand and manage inventory planning in alignment with long-term sales goals.
Support sales execution by providing technical expertise training and content that enhances product positioning.
Create customized solutions that highlight total cost of ownership advantages and drive competitive differentiation.
Act as a key liaison with Caterpillars CI team and other strategic partners to influence product development and support.
Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure strategic initiatives are executed effectively across departments.
Qualifications:
5 or more years of industry and heavy equipment operating experience Leadership experience would be considered an asset
Strong knowledge of Caterpillar products industry trends and customer applications.
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
Willingness to learn on an ongoing basis and keep up to date on new and emerging technologies
Ability to confidently present information to small or large groups in a clear engaging manner
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to solve complex business problems.
Results-oriented collaborative and adaptable with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Note:
This position is based out of our Calgary office location.
50%travel requiredfor this role.
Permanent full-time role.
5 x 2 schedule; Monday Friday shift.
