Maintenance Training Instructor
Description
- Ability to stand for extended periods during instruction or demonstrations.
- Ability to lift move and carry training equipment or aircraft components up to 2530 lbs (1114 kg).
- Ability to climb stairs and access training devices or aircraft areas as required.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for prolonged periods while developing or updating training materials.
- Ability to travel globally up to 30% which may include long flights and extended periods in classrooms or customer sites.
- Must have sufficient mobility vision and dexterity to operate training devices classroom equipment and relevant tools safely.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience working on Bombardier Gulfstream Dassault Citation or other Commercial or Business aircraft.
- Working knowledge of mechanical or avionics aircraft systems relevant to the area of responsibility.
- Ability to resolve customer instructional issues autonomously.
- Proficiency with basic computer software including Windows Suite PowerPoint and Microsoft Word to develop revise and deliver training materials and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current aviation authority license such as TC EASA A&P or equivalent.
- Prior instructional experience (an asset but not required).
