Job Summary
Position Overview:
Vali Inc. is seeking highly organized and detailed-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team. This position will be required to perform a variety of warehouse duties that will require an understanding of the customers storage plan.
Position Responsibilities:
- Verifying materials against receiving documents noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
- Routing materials to specific storage locations; storing stacking or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
- Rearranging and tracking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing for shipment.
- May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
- Proper handling and storage of materials and implement necessary safety measures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
- Use of carts pallet jacks plastic sealers.
- May use hand or power tools and equipment as needed.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have basic computer knowledge for Data Entry and use of Microsoft Outlook.
- 2 years of experience in a professional environment or equivalent experience through education is desired.
- Must be able to work in team environment.
- Acceptably manage customer contact.
- Regard all company information as proprietary.
Physical requirement/Working Environment:
- The position is in a warehouse environment and could involve sitting standing walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
