CoviaCorporation has immediate opening for a 2^nd shift Operator Positionat ourMenomonie WIlocation.

The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities:

Work in a safe manner and abide by all Covia and MSHA safety rules regulations and best practices.
Carry out the activities in a way that does not expose the worker or someone else to anunacceptable level of risk.
Adhere to site procedures and instructions given by supervisors.
Operate equipment in a safe manner which is most efficient and reduces damage downtime and qualityissues.
Complete required paperwork in an orderly accurate and professional fashion.
Be physically capable of performing job duties which include but are not limited to:
- Be capable of walking on uneven ground and up and down hills.
- Be capable of climbing ladders and working at height.
- Be capable of wearing a respirator safety harness safety glasses hard hat and other Personnel Protective Equipment.
- Be capable of working in year-round outdoor conditions which include hot cold and wet weather.
- Be capable of push pull lift and carry 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
- Be capable of shoveling on a continuous basis.
Perform preventive maintenance activities and assist in minor and major maintenance repair activities as directed.
Assist with any continuous improvement projects as necessary.
Perform all other duties as needed or assigned.

The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in an industrial environment is a plus.
Basic computer skills and data entry are required
Prior HMI and shipping software experience is a plus.
Previous experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
Previous experience within mining operations a plus.
Must possess the ability to perform in a physically demanding environment.
Qualified candidates must be available for shift work weekends and overtime.
