Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a Silkscreen Operator to support high-volume card production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating silkscreen printing equipment preparing materials and ensuring high-quality output for personalized credit debit and prepaid cards while meeting strict production timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate silkscreen printing press (Sakurai preferred) for card production
  • Set up and prepare screens films stencils and press equipment
  • Mix and manage ink formulations ensuring accurate color matching and density
  • Perform print quality checks (registration alignment defects ink consistency)
  • Monitor production runs and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and waste
  • Maintain production logs audit documentation and quality records
  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs
  • Follow safety quality and operational procedures at all times
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of silkscreen printing press experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
  • Ability to read and follow job specifications and work instructions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Sakurai silkscreen press operations
  • Background in PVC/plastic printing or card production
  • Experience in high-volume or secure printing environments
  • Familiarity with sheet-fed printing processes
Work Environment & Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods during shifts
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable with physical tasks (bending lifting climbing etc.)
  • Flexibility to work overtime weekends and holidays as needed
