FINAL INSPECTOR
The Final Inspection will inspect finished products for conformance to specifications before packing and shipping to customer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Approves outgoing parts/products by confirming specifications conducting visual and measurement tests rejecting and returning unacceptable parts/products.
Ensure quality of manufactured goods and inspect goods as they are finished.
Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
Approves finished products by confirming specifications conducting visual and measurement tests returning products for re-work and confirming re-work.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs summarizing re-work and waste.
Record pass/fail grade of products.
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures complying with legal regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1 year of product inspection and/or quality experience
Experience with measuring equipment such as micrometers calipers gauges etc. a plus
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Responsible and trustworthy
Minimum Education is High School Diploma but technical degree is a plus.
Ability to bend stoop grip reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Able to stand the majority of the shift to perform duties (8-12 hour shifts).
