Aviation Inspector

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and completed products including electronic units electro-mechanical assemblies mechanical components and structural elements
• Identify defects such as structural flaws internal issues or missing welds using established inspection methods and specifications
• Use measuring tools and equipment (e.g. dial indicators micrometers scales fixtures) to verify product compliance
• Accept or reject parts assemblies or systems based on quality standards
• Work from blueprints diagrams customer specifications inspection instructions and checklists
• Apply statistical process control and other quality procedures to monitor and verify product quality
• Perform line clearances after each production lot to ensure removal of previous materials
• Inspect parts and assemblies using drawings (including CATIA) process specifications and test procedures
• Conduct dimensional inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Document and report non-conforming materials parts assemblies or processes according to procedures
• Inspect vendor subcontractor and in-house components and assemblies
• Follow a structured and pre-determined sequence of work
• Prepare and maintain accurate quality and inspection records
• Support production flow by assisting and cross-training in related roles including assembly functions
• Complete additional duties as assigned with training and certification provided when required

Qualifications :

• Must be open to working any shift
• Proficient in the use of measurement tools and inspection equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience reviewing and working with re-drawings/revisions
• Knowledge and experience with First Article Inspection (FAI)
