Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Turnstile Monitor in Elkton MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
- Control access at entry points by checking identification verifying credentials issuing visitor passes and directing deliveries and contractors to the proper location within the food and beverage facility.
- Monitor and document inbound and outbound vehicle and trailer traffic including driver check-in and check-out seal checks when required by site policy and maintaining accurate access logs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying appropriate contacts and completing detailed reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of building areas docks parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
