Job Summary

Description

As a Lead Legal Operations Specialist here at Honeywell you will oversee and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business leadership for your assigned commodity/category and/or region as per the Annual Operating Plan. Ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures Export/Import regulations.

You will report directly to our Senior Contracts Manager and youll work out of our Phoenix AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will impact the evaluation of bids and proposals ensuring compliance with company policies and program requirements. Your expertise in subcontract management will be crucial in identifying and resolving subcontract issues and developing mutually acceptable solutions.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing all subcontracts with suppliers that will provide products and services necessary to perform install operations to our customers throughout the life cycle of a project.
  • You work with a sense of urgency; proactively engage with the internal program office/contracts group and support lead Program Managers when dealing with matters of subcontractor cost performance and schedule.
  • Administer existing subcontracts with interaction with Program Project and Cost/Estimating Teams.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6 years of procurement/subcontracts administration experience.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws regulations and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelors or MBA preferred.
  • Experience working with subcontractors during all phases of the program lifecycle.
  • Experience utilizing MS Office Suite SAP and other business tools used in the execution of subcontracts management activities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Able to manage a team of multiple subcontract specialists to meet all goals objectives and behaviors for executing significant spend across a large supplier portfolio.
