Lake Technical College is seeking a dedicated knowledgeable and student-focusedParamedic Instructorto teach in our postsecondary EMS education program. If youre passionate about emergency medicine and enjoy guiding others toward success wed love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging evidence-based instruction in paramedicine theory skills and clinical practice
• Facilitate hands-on labs simulations and scenario-based training
• Supervise students during clinical and/or field internships as appropriate
• Develop lesson plans assessments and course materials
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain compliance with accreditation and state regulatory requirements
• Stay current with EMS protocols medical advancements and educational best practices
• Contribute to curriculum development and program improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current unrestrictedParamedic certification/licensein Florida (State and/or National Registry)
• Minimum4 yearsof field experience in pre-hospital environment with an ALS provider.
• Have a minimum of an Associates degree from an accredited institution
• Prior teaching or precepting experience preferred (not requiredtraining available)
• Strong communication leadership and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student success and professional conduct
• Instructor certifications such asAHA BLS/ACLS/PALSNAEMTcourses oreducator credentialsare an asset
